It was hard to take a bad picture of these lovers. I felt really lucky to be invited into their home to capture this moment in time. I was immediately drawn to their inquiry and vision for the session.
For their maternity session, Ash & Bree asked me to document their ideal weekend morning which included a lot of cozy moments like these.

One of my favorite parts of my job is documenting queer love stories, especially as families grow.
Throughout the session, I learned about how they met, what made them fall for each other and the journey they took to building a family.
Having these conversations is what helps create these intimate moments.

These two turned on a record and played a game to capture the essence of the fun they have together. Finding ways to authentically engage with each other during a photo session results in some of the best moments captured.
