Every session begins with a conversation. Fill out a contact form to connect via e-mail. First, we'll see if we're a good fit! Then you'll sign a contract, pay a deposit & set a date.
II. Take photos.
You be yourself and I'll do the rest.
Working with me is easy.

III. Deliver memories.
Next, I do the work to import your photos, cull your story, edit, tweak, finalize & create your gallery. A digital gallery will be sent directly to your e-mail inbox.

Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! I do. I offer flexible payment plans & schedules to fit your needs.
What is your cancellation policy?
In the event of cancellation, the session fee will not be refunded but can be used towards a future session. I am generally very understanding of rescheduling needs as long as there is appropriate notice given.
How many images will I receive?
The number of images depends on the type of session & how long I spend shooting. An hour long session produces an average of 50 images. An entire birth story can be up to 200 images.
Do you charge travel fees?
Travel Fees are charged for sessions taking place outside of the Portland Metro bounds.
Do you ever trade services?
I love trading services with others and take a few trades a year. It never hurts to ask!
Do you License your images?
Yes! I have a library of images available for licensing. Reach out to find out more.

Why Birth Photography?
It seems that in this era of taking back birth and empowering and educating birthing peoples to know their bodies and their rights during birth, more families are choosing to also document their stories so they have images of their strength & power to always look back on. It actually makes a lot of sense. We tend to photograph all of the major events in our lives, so why not this.
Anybody can take a camera into a birth space, but choosing a professional photographer with adequate training in the birth realm is why you want to hire ME.
We think we’ll remember all of the details surrounding the transformative experience that birth is, but it eventually fades. With a gallery of images to look back on you’ll always remember how fucking amazing you were on that day.
I can promise you that you won’t regret having me document your birth.
I think I want to document my birth, what’s next?
We’ll set up a time to meet and make sure we’re a good fit. An in-person meet up is also a great time to ask questions.
Then you’ll sign a contract, pay a deposit to reserve your due date, and set up a payment plan.
When will you join me during my labor & birth process?
Typically during active labor.
What if the birth takes a long time?
I’ll be there. I don’t put a cap on the time it takes to birth your baby. If I am really tired and need a break, I have a few backups I work with that I rely on to help out.
What if I decide in the moment I don’t want pictures taken?
This has never happened but I always tell my clients that if at any moment they need space, I’ll give them space.
